What We Offer

Preston Netball Club is a community club ran by former Lancashire and England netballer, Deborah Gardner and her daughter, Nicole, which accepts girls of all ages to both train and play.

Training sessions – which take place on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings (depending on age) – cover all skill levels; offering first-time netballers the opportunity to learn the basics, intermediate and experts the chance to hone their skills, or to provide a time merely to keep fit while enjoying a fun, comfortable and supportive social surrounding.

For the younger members of Preston Netball Club (over 14's), we offer the chance to feature in one of three development teams; Devils, Saints and Demons, where coaching and advice will be on hand to improve the girls’ game.

Meanwhile, we also run three adult team; Angels, Satans and Spirits, which feature weekly in UCLAN League – allowing the opportunity to both maintain fitness and take part in competitive sport.

Our Mission

Preston Netball Club is a place where girls will learn to love the game of netball, understand team sportsmanship and spirit, keep fit and active, feel part of a club community, and, most of all, have fun. We aim to train our members - of all abilities - either recreationally or up to a standard whereby they will be able to comfortably take part in competitive competitions.

We aim to provide professional coaching for 200 participants by the end of 2019 by adding to our established teams of junior and senior players.

Despite substantial growth over the past 15 years, we are keen to continue progressing, and we are consistently looking to expand our adult and primary school sections. If you would like to get involved; either as a volunteer or within a coaching capacity, please get in touch via our contact page.

We are happy to offer advice to parents of any prospective player who is thinking about joining Preston Netball Club. Our coaches have a wealth of experience at school, club and county level, both as players and coaches.
